Terms of Use and Privacy

Effective date: 6 October 2026

This document sets out the terms on which you may use keelpragma.com and explains how we handle personal information. The site is operated by Keel Pragma (“Keel Pragma”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you accept these terms.

PART A · TERMS OF USE

1. Information only, not advice

Content on this site, including insights, articles and descriptions of services, is general information. It is not professional, legal, regulatory, financial or investment advice, and should not be relied on as such. Advice is given only under a signed engagement.

2. No client relationship

Using this site or contacting us does not create a client or advisory relationship. A relationship begins only when both parties sign an engagement letter setting out scope, fees and terms.

3. Experience and case studies

Case studies describe work led by Fayyaz Ahmad in senior roles at the institutions named, before Keel Pragma was founded. They show relevant experience and do not imply that those institutions are clients of, or endorse, Keel Pragma. Past results do not guarantee future outcomes.

4. Standards and frameworks

References to COSO, NIST, the Basel Committee and other standards describe the frameworks our methodology is built on or aligned with. They do not indicate affiliation with, certification by or endorsement from those organisations. All names and marks belong to their respective owners.

5. Intellectual property

The Keel Pragma name, logo, website design, text and illustrations are owned by Keel Pragma. You may view and print pages for personal or internal reference, but may not copy, republish or use them commercially without our written permission.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, including by attempting unauthorised access, introducing malicious code, or using it for any unlawful purpose, including any offence under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016.

7. Accuracy, availability and liability

We aim to keep content accurate and current but give no warranty that it is complete or error-free. The site is provided “as is” and may be changed, suspended or withdrawn at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Keel Pragma is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, this site or its content.

8. External links

Links to third-party websites, such as LinkedIn, are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

PART B · PRIVACY

9. Information we collect

  • Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, organisation, role and the content of any message sent through our contact form, by email or by phone. If you send a CV, we use it only to consider you for relevant opportunities.
  • Information collected automatically: basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and time of visit, recorded in standard server logs by our hosting provider.

10. How and why we use it

We use personal information only for the purpose for which it was provided, unless you agree otherwise or the law or professional standards require it:

  • to respond to enquiries and to discuss, provide and manage advisory or training services;
  • to send information you have asked for, such as insights or event invitations, which you can stop at any time;
  • to keep the site secure and functioning; and
  • to meet legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

11. Confidentiality and sharing

Information shared with us in the course of an enquiry or engagement is treated as confidential; engagement-specific terms are set out in each engagement letter or non-disclosure agreement. We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate, such as our website host and email provider, under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations, or where required by law or a competent authority. These providers may store data on servers outside Pakistan, in which case we take reasonable steps to keep it protected.

12. Retention and security

We keep enquiry information only as long as needed to respond and follow up, and in any case no longer than two years unless an engagement, the law or professional standards require otherwise. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, to protect personal information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

13. Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to its use for any purpose, by writing to contact@keelpragma.com. We will make all reasonable efforts to comply, consistent with applicable law and professional standards.

14. Children

This site is intended for professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.

15. Applicable law

We handle personal information in line with applicable Pakistani law, including the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016. Pakistan does not yet have a comprehensive data protection statute; we will update this section when one is enacted.

PART C · COOKIES AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

16. Cookies

The site uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function, such as those that keep forms working securely. We do not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. If that changes, this section will be updated first and your consent sought where appropriate.

17. Spam protection

Our contact form may be protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which processes limited technical data to tell people from automated programs. Its use is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

PART D · GENERAL

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. The courts at Islamabad have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

19. Changes

We may update this document at any time. The version published on this page, with its effective date, applies.
